Alissa Prew
(Physical Therapy Assistant)
Alissa joined Nestor Physical Therapy, LLC in 2022 as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Alissa graduated as Valedictorian of her class at the Community College of Rhode Island with an Associates in Applied Science. Alissa graduated from the honors program with highest honors and also served as a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. Throughout her program, Alissa gained experience in the acute care hospital setting and in a neurological center with patients recovering from a stroke, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injury.
Growing up an avid athlete, Alissa is especially passionate about working with athletes recovering from sports injuries. She holds certifications in FMT Basic and Performance/Advanced Kinesio-taping through RockTape. Out of the office, Alissa enjoys going for hikes with her dog, Bruschi, and her husband. She also enjoys playing board games, reading, spending time with family, and playing on her co-ed slowpitch softball league.
