Nestor Physical Therapy is hiring for a Physical Therapist job in North Smithfield, RI, and we’re looking for a clinician who wants to practice the way patients wish every clinic did: with enough time to explain, to notice, and to treat each person as an individual. Our single-location practice, led by Dr. Steve Nestor, focuses on motivated patients with spine, orthopedic, and sports-related injuries. Our mission is to give them the relief they deserve so they can get back to doing the things they love, and we do it through hands-on, evidence-based care. Whether you are a new graduate or a therapist with a year or two of outpatient experience, you’ll find a practice where careful clinical work is the whole point of the day.

One-on-One Care From Start to Finish

When patients describe what sets our clinic apart, they come back to the same thing: they spend their entire session with their therapist. No one is handed off between patients, and no one feels like a billing number. Many arrive after trying acupuncture, chiropractic care, injections, or medication without lasting relief, and they want someone to explain what is happening in their body and why a plan makes sense. You’ll have the time to do exactly that.

Our patients include career firefighters, golfers, and active adults working to reclaim a lifestyle that pain took away. Our treatment toolkit reflects that range: manual and manipulative therapy, joint mobilization, spinal manipulation, soft tissue mobilization, therapeutic exercise, vestibular therapy, fall prevention, and golf fitness training. We also offer direct access, so many people come to us without a physician referral. Clinic hours run until 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, which helps patients fit care around their work and family schedules.

A Practice Built on Trust and Community

Through the years, we have grown from physician referrals to patients referring their friends and family members. We take that as the clearest measure of the care we provide. We also host free community workshops on back pain and sciatica and on shoulder pain and rotator cuff injuries, and they are often where a future patient first meets Dr. Nestor before booking an evaluation. Patient education is part of the work here, not an extra.

We want the therapist who joins us to grow along with the practice. Compensation:

• $75,000 to $90,000 per year (USD)
